Heather Easy-Does-It Eat only fruits & vegetables grown by people I know on a first name basis!
Marie Easy-Does-It I'm looking at my favorite foods and noticing their origins so that I can adjust my buying habits year-round to be more locally oriented. I plan to spend all my food budget for this week at the downtown farmer's market tomorrow--a fun excuse to try produce and other foods that I'd passed over before because they were unfamiliar or a bit more expensive than at the grocery store. The new foods that I really like I'll keep in my diet--we middle class Americans spend such a small fraction of our income on food compared to elsewhere in the world, we should be open to paying a bit more to get food that is fresher, more local, and more environmentally responsible. And it will be fun to try new recipes chosen to highlight whatever is in season and available locally, and share my discoveries with my friends online.
Kyle DIY Eggs, nothing but eggs.
Erin Easy-Does-It I am going to pledge the easy does it challenge and allow myself Tillamook ice cream (I gotta have it), almond milk, and the occasional coffee run. Ashley Easy-Does-It All within 250 miles for the week with the exception of a wedding dinner on the 6th and three vices of olive oil, rennet used in the local cheeses and pasta noodles.
Kate Easy-Does-It I will make an effort to cook more, which allows me to appreciate what's in season and know that I'm eating local. Hopefully I will also save money from eating out less, but that also means making time to shop at farmer's markets, too!
Scott Hardcore I am going to continue coffee! From local roasters!!! I have avoided the center of the groceries store for three years. No corporate foods... I'm ready.

Evan Easy-Does-It My challenge will be to cut out processed snack foods (i.e. Trader Joe's), like corn chips, crackers, dried fruit, etc. There will be some non-local tortillas, pasta, cooking oil, etc involved, but sticking to local meat, fruit and vegetables and cutting out non-local snack foods should be a good challenge.
Little Easy-Does-It No processed foods. Buy all my produce at farmers market!
Christiana Easy-Does-It I'm most excited to only shop at the Utah Co-op, farmer's markets, and local food at Harmon's. I want to see if I can go a week without my non-local chocolate (or better yet treat myself to some local Chocolate Conspiracy) and substitute items that are not local for something similar that is.
Analeigh Easy-Does-It I'm excited about eating breakfast that is entirely local: the milk, eggs, butter, bread, and jelly. I will focus on buying local-only dairy.
Rachel Hardcore I'm trying to be hardcore! I think the hardest things for me to omit from my diet will be coffee (my morning ritual) and chocolate (my afternoon/evening vice). While we have a small garden and buy primarily local produce already, I'm really excited to learn more about what staples (like flour, grains, and legumes) I can find close to home, and hope that I can incorporate my discoveries into my diet beyond this week!

William Easy-Does-It This will be fun!

Barbara Easy-Does-It Our breakfasts are already pretty much local with eggs from our own chickens and bread that I make with local flour. I pledge to be buy three or four local, not just organic, products that we typically purchase when I shop.
Anya Hardcore I will be travelling to another country over the span of that week, I commit to trying to eat foods that are only locally grown, and no processed foods or drinks. Will be hard at an airport, but once I get to Nepal, I think it might be doable!

Carol Easy-Does-It Sharing the news with friends that are not yet SF members, and seeing if they join me @ the Farmers' Market and elsewhere! My locals for the week: UT dairy- eggs, cheeses, veggies.
Cammy Hardcore I shop at harmon's so I will be sure to buy all local product from dairy to fruits and even dog food.
Mike DIY I eat a lot of burritos. I usually have two for breakfast, then one more either for lunch or dinner. Once I had eleven burritos in two days, which I am quite proud of. I put this fact in the "About Me" section of an online dating profile but no one messaged me to say how impressed they were so I replaced it with some lie about how much I love camping. I make the burritos myself usually, although sometimes I buy them from Albertos. During Eat Local Week I pledge to only eat burritos that are filled with local ingredients. I think that the hardest part of this challenge is going without Sriracha hot chili sauce on the breakfast burritos. I won't be able to use rice in the burritos but that is okay because I get really bummed out when I take a bite of a burrito and get only rice. Here are some things I will be putting into the burritos: beans, pork, ground beef, salsa, eggs, potatoes, salsa, cabbage, cheese, bacon, peppers, squash, onions. I don't really like lettuce in my burritos because it gets wilted and fe

Kim Easy-Does-It Olive oil and coffee will be the vices. Excited to get started.
Liz Easy-Does-It My goal for the week will be to try to make every meal made with local ingredients. I am doing the E-D-I challenge because I can't give up coffee, peanut butter, oil, or beer (ok, that's 4 allowances, but let's be real).
Reggie Easy-Does-It Local dairy Local fruits and veggies Less meat Smaller portions My wife and I are on board !!
Gwen Easy-Does-It I'm allowing myself coffee, olive oil, and avocados. Can't live without my avocados! I'm excited to practice meal-planning ahead of time (the biggest challenge for me)!
cassandra Hardcore To eat completely local for that week. No shipped.
Aaron Easy-Does-It One locally-sourced meal each day.
Chris Easy-Does-It We will give ourselves locally roasted coffee and chocolate, but most everything else will be out of my garden or my neighbors, or the FMs.
Angela Easy-Does-It I really enjoy gifting my clients a basket of locally produced products. It's a celebration of home and place.

Jessi DIY I am planning on eating local dairy, and I'm excited to introduce my family to local healthier eating.
ANdrew Easy-Does-It The whole family will eat as local as we can always and forever.
